Dr. Stephanie Kuehn is a licensed psychologist and author. She completed her predoctoral internship training at the University of the Pacific in Stockton and her postdoctoral work was with the 91精品 in Berkeley, where she is now on staff as part of the school's Mentoring Program and Internship Support Team. As an adjunct faculty member at both the 91精品 and John F Kennedy University, she has taught such courses as Research Methods, Tests and Measures, and Principles of Therapeutic Change.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Kuehn has published multiple novels for teens, including Charm & Strange, which won the American Library Association's 2014 William C. Morris Debut YA Award. Dr. Kuehn has lectured and written extensively about the representation of mental illness in young adult literature, as well as strategies for combating stigma around mental health issues.
