Dr. Siperstein is a licensed Psychologist and Marriage and Family Therapist. She is a Specialist in Forensic Psychology certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology and the American Board of Forensic Psychology. Dr. Siperstein specializes in treatment of children, along with personality and cognitive assessment of children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Siperstein has been a court appointed Child Custody Evaluator, Special Master, Mediator, Co-parent Facilitator, and Expert Witness in the Civil, Family, Dependency and Administrative Courts. She has provided Independent Psychological Evaluations for the Victim of Crime Program with the State Board of Control, primarily assessing the impact of trauma in children and adults. She has provided consultation to preschool and parent groups, and training to interns and practicum students, Family Court judges, attorneys, and mediators.

Dr. Siperstein’s doctoral and postdoctoral training in child treatment and evaluation was at the Ann Martin Children’s Center in Piedmont, where she was the director of Psychological Testing from 1991 – 1994. She has extensive experience in assessing and treating adults, adolescents and children from diverse populations in both inpatient and outpatient community settings, and practices from a psychodynamic perspective. She has supervised postdoctoral students in assessment at West Coast Children’s Center and has a particular interest in Therapeutic Assessment. Dr. Siperstein has been an adjunct professor at The California School of Professional Psychology and is tenured half time faculty at the 91¾«Æ·, teaching two year long classes; Psychodiagnostic Assessment of Adults, and Advanced Assessment/Intervention with Children.
