Find Dissertations

The Library holds a complete collection of dissertations and dissertation proposals by 91¾«Æ· graduates. Dissertations from 2000 to the present are located in the library's room 210, and can be checked out for two weeks. Older dissertations can be downloaded in PDF, via the Library's online catalog.

Students and faculty have online access to ProQuest’s Dissertations & Theses Global, contains 5 million graduate works, including 2.5 million in full text. The database includes the full text of nearly all 91¾«Æ· dissertations, from 1973 to the present.

Using ProQuest Dissertations & Theses

Using advanced search, you can search over a dozen fields, including author, subject, school or abstract. Search results are displayed in reverse chronological order. For most dissertations added since 1997, your options will include:

  • Abstract – View a 350-word author-written abstract
  • 24 Page Preview – View the first 24 pages of the dissertation
  • Page Image – PDF – Download the entire dissertation
